The Assessor's Office is responsible for identifying and valuing all taxable real and personal property within the Township in accordance with Michigan's General Property Tax Act and other applicable statues. Our responsibilities include annually producing the assessment rolls, maintaining ownership records and property descriptions for tax purposes, processing Personal Property Statements, and the inspection of existing properties along with any new construction. The annual Taxable Values established by the Assessor's office are used by the Township Treasurer to produce the property tax bills for all properties within the Township.

Argentine Township Office is open Monday - Friday 8:30 to 4:30

Most record requests can be handled immediately. Argentine Township shall comply with the F.O.I.A.

Argentine Township Board of Review will meet March 7th at 6 p.m. for the Organizational Meeting. No appeals will be heard. They will convene March 13th from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 and March 14th from 2 p.m - 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 9: 00 p.m. Letters of appeal must be received by 6 p.m. on March 14th.
